Marketing Tactics Designed

To Last a Lifetime, Part I

If you are a business owner, there are two questions that you need to ask yourself.

1. What business are you in?

2. How’s business?

A business is designed to do one thing and that is to bring in customers. This is the only business of a business, everything else is an expense.

How are you doing? Do you examine and measure your performance? Do you understand what will make a difference to your business?

Is it the internet that’s making a difference, maybe a CPC program or even traditional advertising, maybe marketing or a promotion you have been running?

Keep in mind, “everything you do is an expense and unless you can quantify and measure what those expenses bring back to your business, you just may be standing in a cold shower, tearing up $100 bills.

I understand you want to generate sales through your advertising and marketing $$. So… what are doing to make that happen?

Are you taking the time to analyzing, measure and identify every aspect of what your ads are doing?

This is so important! You really need to understand what is driving business. If something isn’t working you need to recognize it and get it fixed.

To many people are to quick to replace an ad which is under performing, when the first thing you should look at is the headline. What are trying to communicate and what will your communication do for the reader? You know what the reader is saying to themselves “What’s In It For Me!!?”

If you’re not properly denominating an expectation the reader is interested in, your waisting your time and also your potential customers time.

You need to know what works and what doesn’t!! Then and only then are you in a position to replace under-performing aspects with alternatives, which do perform, and give you the desired results.
